I now call this meeting of the Red and Bad Book Club to order! (FYI, best YouTube thumbnail ever.)
Macky and Mo over at Sinfully Sexy Book Reviews reviewed each episode of LRBB. If you’re game, read the Room 111 review here.
Room 111! Is that a hint of sweetness we see in Big Bad? Aw!

Hey folks 🙂 I’m ill, so I’m just going to sit here in the corner wrapped up in my favourite jumper and a scarf, sniffing quietly and hugging my cocoa – sorry about any germs…
My favourite moment in this episode (and it’s all good) is Red (inadvertently?) invoking the safe word and Bad reacting immediately, but in such a way that you don’t even notice (well, I didn’t, anyway – and I’m not sure Red did either) until the second reading. Clever writing, and another peek behind the Facade of Bad-ness 🙂
vcheysham So sorry, you must have sat too near me last week. There should still be some tissues around here somewhere: they are the super soft lotion filled kind I only splurge on when ill…
Bad definitely wins Dom points for stopping and checking in, but he loses at least one for continuing on with such a generic safeword. Okay, maybe only a half point. With the activities these two engage in, it’s probably better to be safe than sorry!
GWendy vcheysham I totally forgive you in return for lotiony tissues (my nose is so sore)
I also pretty much forgave Bad anything by the end of the series – I must be getting soft in my old age!
Hi, sorry I missed last week I was ill and nothing was sinking into my brain, well less then normal anyway. Hope you feel better soon vcheysham.
I agree Bad is growing on me. You can tell Bad cares about Red, I don’t think that he would’ve agreed to change the venue if he didn’t. I also liked the way Bad respected Red’s safeword checking whether he meant it without Red realising it.
GWendy vcheysham Oh my god, the fucking “stop” stopword. That bothers me every time I read it! The idea was that (***very not-spoilery spoiler alert***) eventually Red makes his own fucking safeword, thus proving his agency (again), but fuck, really, Ripper? You couldn’t come up with something better than “stop”?
Y’all, don’t get any germs on me! [Backs away slowly to the other side of the room and makes plans to escape to the bathroom for a good scrub as soon as possible.]
There are definitely a few moments here that show a smidge of tenderness from Bad. His concept of aftercare has left a bit/LOT to be desired.
I hope everyone is feeling better. I'm just slow…..I don't think I even commented on Camera Three……
I wondered where the name of the forum came from, now I know Room 111!
I'm wondering if Bad is finding himself "attached" (can't think of a better word) to Red. Maybe in the beginning it was to be a one off, but not so much now…….
New safe word: tissues
