Cupcakes! I love cupcakes, not that I eat them very often. When I was little and learning to cook we called them fairy cakes – I don't think anyone does any more 🙂 I'd offer to bring scones next week (that's the English version, with jam and cream, what you guys call biscuits and eat at breakfast with gravy, which is just weird) but they're hardly gluten-free…

Wow, guess I was so focused on Hugh & Bad that I just skipped over the Bottom's Brunch or what I was calling the 'sub club'. Vicky's right. When do we get to hear more about that. It almost sounded like it would be a great episode all on it's own. (Not so subtle hint there.) 😉 Still, Hugh & Bad. How hot was that?! I know it will probably never happen but I'd like to see Bad on the receiving end some time. He still impresses me as someone who can dish it but not take it. Also, there seems to be a scene missing from when the boyfriends and Will go up to bed. That promises to be another hot one. I guess I'm just missing the Hugh & Truman interactions.
Man! I love Monday mornings now. It so makes 5 A.M. worth getting up for. I think this is the first time in my life I've ever consistently looked forward to Mondays.
Loved this scene. It was so unexpected for Bad to flog Hugh it was brilliant. I was thinking about what you said in your video Kris that the relationship problems wasn't all Bad's fault. I can see that Red is growing up, I should say maturing, and wants more but doesn't know how to express it. I think I expect Bad to be more together like Hugh and that has affected my view of him. This scene has helped me separate them. Big thank you to General Wendy for planting the seed that led to Bad & Red meeting Hugh & Truman and now Will. I'd love to know what was said in the Bottom's Brunch. How well did Nick and Red get on?
I think that cupcakes are fairy cakes with a lot more icing, like a child playing dress up. Scones get my vote every time but i'm not good at making them 🙁 I'm sure we can make them with gluten free flour.

Hugh and will (write another book with them in it) lets just say they are my drug of choice . I wonder if this holiday will help the relationship in my mind it will not , avoidence never seems to work. The need a bang em up tear jerking emotion pulling confrontational heart mind ans soul fight!!
Oh I meant to mention Bad's age, I hadn't thought about it before just assumed he was near to Hugh in age rather than Will. So many of my assumptions have been challenged in this episode
WOW! So awesome! Really, really ejoyed the Hugh and Bad scene! That was fantastic and so typically Hugh to realize Bad was not done after Red. Dying to find out what goes on at the bottoms brunch too! Too bad Red can't join them more often……

Aw, I'm so glad you guys liked this episode. I've been waiting for you to read it for months!
All I did was drop a carrot for the plot bunny. What the bunny did with that carrot (and whether or not paws were washed afterward) was beyond my control. Having said that, I will totally take the blame for inspiring all that awesomeness. Hugh doing his thing with Bad is just spectacular. So, yeah, it's all my fault. I'll try to do it again soon. 😉
Like Dolphin_91, this episode really made me more aware of the respective ages of the players. I have a slight timeline fetish (Shut, up, Kris! I can hear you smirking over there…) so I keep details like that tucked away, but I hadn't really stopped to consider how young Bad and Red were compared to The Boyfriends. I'm much more willing to cut them some slack in the relationship area now. You just have to experience some things to learn how to fix your screw-ups, and that's going to be good reading.
Did I hear correctly? Did you say you could write a lot of scenes with Will and Nick and Eddie? You may be in some kind of a fevered delirium, but I'm going to have to hold you to that 🙂

I totally agree with everyone about the age differences between Bad, red & the boyfriends. Would like to read more about the Boyfriends & Will getting together with Bad & Red. Totally awesonpme episode! I would like to know what went on at the Bottom's Brunch also! Can't wait for next Monday!
