I'm not sure if I can tell you whether or not you should do the work to get hard copies of your books (though I agree it must be awesome to see a bookshelf full of your own books – by my count you're getting awfully close to 20!). I will say that although I notice if the ebooks I'm buying have a print version available, the price savings doesn't influence me. I think that I've worked in retail for long enough (probably way too long) to not let regular retail prices sway my decision. The only price that matters to me is the actual price that I'm being asked to pay – I like to think I'm pretty good at making a decision about what I'm willing to pay for something and sticking with it.
