I’m gonna be messing with some stuff. Since I don’t have big blocks of time right now, that might mean things are a bit in shambles for a stretch.
Let’s use this as a little survey, shall we? When you hit an author’s website, what’s the first thing you want to see? What’s your least favorite aspect of navigating author sites? The main question is this: What can I do to serve you better when you hit my site?

I like an up-to-date list of the author's newest releases and if possible, a list of what's coming soon. (It's a tad annoying if the "coming soon" has dates that have long since passed without the books being published, or if it's a year since the list was last updated.)
Then I look for a link to a well-organised list of their whole back catalogue (i.e. organised into series, if applicable, and for long series it can be useful for an author to specify a reading order, or order them by internal chronology and/or publication date, etc) so that I can glom them if I'm a fan.
For what it's worth, I love that you post free story snippets, etc, so be sure to link to them!
The first thing I look for is the list of books, series and free shorts included. I want to see the cronological order and what is to come. 🙂
Love your free/short stories! They give me an inside if the characters’ lifes and I enjoy that.
